Nigeria, South Africa hold talks over xenophobic attacks

Nigeria says it “cannot stand by” as its citizens face harassment in South Africa, with both countries holding talks over rising tensions.

Foreign Affairs Minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu said evacuation plans for willing Nigerians are underway, while South Africa pledged efforts to protect affected communities and curb violence.
