NGF Visits Plateau, Condoles Mutfwang Over Renewed Killings

A delegation from the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), led by its chairman and Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, visited Plateau State on Thursday to commiserate with Governor Caleb Mutfwang over recent deadly attacks.

Abdulrazaq called for unity and peaceful dialogue among communities, stressing that sustained violence threatens the state’s economic potential. He praised Mutfwang’s efforts to restore peace and security.

Governor Mutfwang thanked the delegation and reaffirmed his commitment to protecting lives and property. He also urged security agencies to tighten border controls, noting that many attackers were allegedly foreign nationals.

The delegation included governors from Benue, Borno, Bauchi, Oyo, and the deputy governor of Nasarawa.
