The event will attract the presence of the Honorable commissioner for Basic Education, Anambra state, Prof. Kate Omenugha as well as Prof CP Omaliko Anambra State Polytechnic (ANSPOLY) Mgbakwu.

Again, the Founder, Chancellor and the Chairman Board of Trustees , Tansion University, Umunya very rev.msgr, Prof. JohnBosco Akam among other prestigious invitees will honour the event.

The Corporate Organization, Support Children Education Fund (Scefund), has unveiled its program to help the Nigerian child harnesse his academic potential and all round development.

The body said that it stands to help the less privileged children of school age and beyond to attain full educational pursuit irrespective of their background and social status.

The body in a statement blamed governments for lackadaisical attitudes towards the welfare of its citizens especially child education, stressing that the Nigerian child deserves better than this in a country where insecurities, high school fee, lack of financial planner, hand to mouth parents, have disrupted their involvement in full academic activities.

It said that a survey conducted by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) indicates that the population of out of school children in Nigeria has risen from 10.5 million to 13.2 million, the highest in the world but assured that With Sce-fund program, the Nigerian Child is secured in children educational support fund and house rent financial support 100% insured by one of the leading insurance companies in Nigeria.

The body further decried that both the federal and state govennments in Nigeria have failed to live up to their full responsibilities as stated in sections 14(2)b and 18(3) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) where it stipulated that the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of Government coupled with the responsibility of eradicating illiteracy by providing free education respectively.

The body said it has volunteered to support the global movement in social economic sustainable goals.

It said that its major goal is to groom future leaders that will positively impact the society in their various fields of endeavor adding that it has opened windows of opportunities for parents, Children and youths for sustainable development goals and children’s back to school initiatives.

As stated in their Smart Contract Educational Bond, the body also assured full responsibility of the child education fund if the parents are no more to Carter for their children’s education.

The organization is willing to partner with state government to fund basic education budget 2021
