Never give up, Anglican Vicar Charges Christians

AWKA Archdeacon, Akwa Deanery and Vicar in charge of the cathedral church of St Faith, Awka, Venerable Samuel Okonkwo encourages Christians never to give up on their faith.

Christians should hope and trust in God, that without him all things are not possible. Ven Okonkwo better known as Ven Sam O who spoke during the lending service encourages Christians to always look up to Jesus Christ as their lord and Saviour.

Christians should believe that is the way to the truth and life. He furthermore told us the meaning of lent in the church. Lent is the Christian religious observance in the year commemorating the 40 days Jesus Christ spent fasting in the desert and enduring temptation by satan, he said, according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke before beginning his public Ministry.

In conclusion, the service was interactive, the congregation sang songs of praise and worshipped God and also danced joyfully.
