Nengo Bridge, Nteje opens at last

Nengo Bridge Nteje connecting Awkuzu through Nteje to Odumodu junction Umunya has been opened for motorists after four years. The bridge had been an obstacle to the stretch of road as motorists ply the old bridge with youths extorting between N50 and above. Vehicles take turns to cross the bridge.

But on Sunday , December 23, 2018, the bridge was opened temporarily for traffic use, though the work is not yet completed.

 The traditional ruler of Nteje, Igwe Rowland Odegbo (Aborgu 11 na Nteje) thanked the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano (Akpokuodike) for the Bridge.
