‘Ndi Anambra’ Should Disregard Fraudulent Claims By APC Media Group – AUCC

The attention of Andy Uba Campaign Council (AUCC), has been drawn to statements attributed to a faceless group that calls itself All Progressives Media Team, asking the good people of Anambra to disregard reports that the issue of who emerged candidate of the Party for the November 6, 2021 governorship election has been settled.

Statement by the group, signed by the following, Hon. Tochukwu Onyedibe, Hon. Jude Orolua,and Hon. Emmanuel Ifediata, Hon. Ekene Onyido, Hon. Johnson Okoye, Hin. Ebube Ezeokafor and Hon. Afam Eboh, further went on to regurgitate reports with no clear facts as to its origin and authenticity which according to them nullifies the fact a primary election actually held on the said date and a candidate did emerge.

We would have ordinarily ignored the report if not for some clear cases of fraudulent claims inherent in the said release.

We wish to let the good people of Anambra And Nigeria as a whole to know that there is no such thing like ‘All Progressive Media Group’ both in the state and that of the national All Progressives Party, APC.

We speak authoritatively that the Party doesn’t know who they are or what agenda they stand for.

There was no time whatsoever that all aspirants in the forthcoming Anambra governorship election took time out to ask all their Media aides to align and form such a group.
If there was ever such plans, why wasn’t the formidable media team of Distinguished Senator Andy Uba asked formally to or otherwise to join such group?
Why wasn’t such group formed before the primary election?
Why must it come after the primary election when, as we know, there were some aggrieved parties whose grouses are being addressed properly?

From these critical questions, it is evident that the so called group was formed out of envy for the person of Sen. Andy Uba, over the outcome of the primary election.

But of course, people may disagree with some issues in our Party politics, but ascribing to legitimacy by citing a phantom media group is way too low and indecent.

We also want to use this opportunity to warn that the AUCC and well meaning members of the APC Anambra will not tolerate aspersions cast or insult lobbed at the personality of Gov. Abiodun of Ogun State, the man who made himself available to serve as head of the Primaries in Anambra.

We are confident too that the APC hierarchy will not stand for such, and we shall defend the Party and its leadership against image destroyers.

Finally, we call on those who availed themselves to be used against the progress of APC and Anambra state, because of the outcome of the primary election, to retrace their steps.
