NCC, NSA Warn Against Telecom Disruptions
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and National Security Adviser (NSA) have urged public support to protect telecom infrastructure, warning that disruptions could damage the economy and national security.
Their appeal followed intervention to avert a fuel suppliers’ strike that threatened diesel deliveries to generator-powered base stations. NCC chief Aminu Maida and NSA Nuhu Ribadu called telecom facilities “shared national assets” and stressed collaboration to prevent outages.
