NAUTH Students Protest In Nnewi
Students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital(NAUTH) Nnewi , school of nursing and midwifery went on a peaceful protest around Nnewi on the tenth of March 2026, about the outrageous increment of their school fees from ninety thousand naira(₦90,000.00) to five hundred and eighty thousand naira(₦580,000.00).
They are also protesting about the poor states of their hostels and their living conditions, despite the outrageous sum they pay for the compulsory hostel accomodations.
In the face on changes in economic realities, increment in prices of things is always unavoidable, but over five hundred percent(500%) increase in school fees is outrageous .
The school management should look into that.
