Moniepoint, other banks to charge 7.5% VAT on transfers, USSD
Moniepoint and other Nigerian banks will levy 7.5% VAT on bank transfers and USSD transactions from January 19, following a Nigeria Revenue Service directive.
The charge is in addition to existing fees and will be remitted to the NRS. No official NRS statement has been issued yet.
