Earlier today, Mgbakwu Youths Staged a peaceful protest to mandate government attention in Anambra State Polytechnic Mgbakwu and other Government Facilities within the community.

These demands cuts across lack of administrative infrastructures in the school, road infrastructures, accreditation of courses to enable graduates and prospective graduates attend the one year compulsory National Service; NYSC and the validation of the school’s certificate amongst many other demands.

As the leader of Youths in Awka North, I gave my thoughts on the subject matter and led a delegation into the school to meet with the Governing Council, including the Registrar and the Rector of the school who were present.

Issues were tabled and discussed in a civil manner and reasons were given by a member of the council why the school seems inactive and stagnant.

We also used the opportunity to call on the Governor Elect, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s expertise to help salvage the remains of the school in the next administration.

What are your thoughts?
