Man Utd to receive £5m from Chelsea’s £100m payment for Lukaku
Manchester United are in line to receive at least £5million if Romelu Lukaku joins Chelsea this summer, the UK Mirror reports.
The Blues are set to submit a third bid for Lukaku, with Inter Milan willing to cash in on the striker, amid their financial predicament.
Chelsea have had two failed bids for their former player, but look set to match Inter’s asking price of £100million.
If a deal goes ahead, United will get a small windfall of around £5m, as they inserted a sell-on clause when they sold the 28-year-old to the Serie A club in 2019.
