Man 70 nabbed for sexual assault, infecting 14yr-old daughter with HIV

A 70-year-old man, Mr Mike Ofor, has been arrested by the Police for raping his 14-year-old daughter and infecting her with Human Immune virus (HIV).
The arrest was made after the victim, Favour Ofor, complained to her school teacher, Mrs Blessing Ejike, of experiencing pain each time she urinates.
Little Favour said she had been feeling sick for the past few weeks and kept complaining to her father who turned deaf ears to her incessant complaint.
Puzzled by the complaint, Mrs Blessing who said she had earlier noticed some changes in the behaviour of the child took her to the closest general hospital in Umunede, Delta State.
“I was shocked when I heard that a young girl of 14 is already having painful urination and some other confidential disease and reaction around her vulva.
“I took this issue seriously and immediately took her to the hospital close by and that was when an HIV test was conducted on her and she was confirmed positive.”
Teacher Blessing amidst tears at the moment said she couldn’t help but interrogate Favour very well before Favour opened up saying that her biological father whom she stays always forced her to open her legs and go down with her every night and forced a pill down her throat after he is done.
“I was pushed aback in shock when I heard these and had to call the police to report this to them immediately even as Favour was crying and begging me not to do so because her father threatened to cut off her neck if she told a soul.”
When the police arrived and further interrogated Favour about her family, that was when Favour disclosed that she had lost her mother while her brother lived with their pastor.”
www.odogwublog.com reports that the arrest of the suspect, Mr. Mike, generated unease in the neighborhood as neighbors who had heard the atrocity rained abuses on him as he was handcuffed and taken away.
