LG Poll: Bridge Head Market Chairman Felicitates Hon. Orji

The care-taker Chairman of Bridge Head Market Onitsha, Anambra State, Hon. Chinedu Ezekwike has congratulated the elected Chairman of Onitsha South local government, Hon. Emeka Orji.

Hon. Ezekwike on behalf of his executives, stakeholders,  Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Market and traders noted the victory of Hon. Emeka Orji in the recently concluded local government election in Anambra State is purely evidence of his transformative strides which he attracted during his tenure as the transition council Chairman of Onitsha South local government.

Akwaeke of Umuchu, flanked by the Secretary General of the Market, Hon. Peter Okeke ” Akwudolu Eze” expressed optimism that Hon. Orji would perform better than he did now that he has been elected as the Local Government Chairman.

He unequivocally assured Hon. Orji has his full support with his executives to ensure that he brings more dividends of democracy to Onitsha South local government, praying to God to grant him more wisdom and protection in his new office.  

Hon. Ezekwike further praised Governor Soludo for achieving another milestone by keeping his campaign promise for conducting LG election during his administration, saying that Governor Soludo has broken the jinx of conducting local government election after many years in the state.

He equally lauded Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) for conducting a transparent poll, even as he commended APGA for remaining a strong political party in the Anambra State.

Hon. Ezekwike also lauded the deputy Chairman of Onitsha South local government, Hon. Obi Onyebuchi, various councilors as well as all local government Chairmen and Councillors across 21 local governments in Anambra for their victory, asserting that they deserve the victory.
