Inspector Samuel, A Police Officer with a difference – Anglican Clergy

An Anglican clergy, Ven Chukwuemeka Ezike has described late Inspector Samuel Chukwunweike Nwadiogbu as an outstanding officer that served the Nigerian police with a difference.
The cleric who said this on Wednesday during the service of songs in honour of the deceased inspector , added that though Samuel was a police officer in his hey days, his job never took him out of his Christian line as he was ardent in Church service and activities even after his retirement till deathless.

The cleric said that late Samuel lived an exemplary and unassuming life even when he was an officer of the Nigerian Police Force known mostly for their ills.

Odogwublog.com reports that Ven Ezike did not only describe him as a cheerful personality full of wisdom and unassuming character but also a man of Integrity who values himself and people around him.

While the Cleric acknowledged the legacy that Pa Samuel left behind, he enjoined Christians to shun bad life even as he decried the spate of fake pastors in the present day society. He warned Christians to be mindful of those that parade themselves as men of God to deceive people.

Also, the Curate , Cathedral Church of St Faith and officiating Priest at the Late Pa Samuel’s Burial service of songs, Rev Engr Izuchukwu Okongwu prayed for God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss of their father and grand father but advised Christians to always live in preparedness of the coming of the lord.


Appreciating the St. Faith Clergies for their presence to honour their departed father, Justice Kalajine Anigbogu said that the family will not forget the late inspector’s legacies while on earth adding that his exit has left a huge hole in the family.

Among Priests that attended the service of songs from Cathedral Church of St Faith, Awka were: Ven. Dr. Chukwuemeka O. Ezike, Canon Nwachukwu, Revd Engr Izuchukwu Okongwu, Revd Dr. H.O.N. Bosah, Revd Emmanuel Ogbuefi, Revd Dozie Nwakire, Revd Basil Ozoemena and Revd Christian Ibekwe.
