Lagos Ranked Nigeria’s Least Transparent State Despite ₦3.3tn Budget

Lagos has again placed last in BudgIT’s 2025 fiscal transparency index, scoring poorly across key categories including budget disclosure, citizens’ budget, and e-procurement, despite having Nigeria’s largest state budget of ₦3.3tn.
