Lagos Police Arrest 26 Over Fake Currency, Adulterated Diesel
The Lagos State Police Command arrested 26 men on November 27 for possession of ₦951,300 in counterfeit notes and selling adulterated diesel to motorists in Eti-Osa, Lekki.
The suspects were caught in a joint operation with Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI), and investigations revealed several were involved in producing and distributing the tainted fuel. Police warned that anyone threatening public safety or economic stability will face strict legal action.
