A labourer, Nelson Idahosa, was on Wednesday arraigned before a Kado Upper Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, for allegedly stealing some clothes.

Idahosa, whose address was not given, is being charged with criminal trespass and theft.

The Prosecution Counsel, Helen Ochai, told the court that a resident, Segun Odesanya, of Plot 498, Ahmadu Bello Way, Kado Estate, Phase 2, Abuja, reported the matter at the Life Camp Police Station.

She alleged that on Sept. 16, Idahosa jumped through Odesanya’s fence without his consent and stole some clothes.

The prosecutor further stated that the defendant could not give any reasonable explanation for his action after being caught in the act.
