Kwara Halves Malaria Cases, Links 60% of Infections to Poor Sanitation

The Kwara State Government says malaria prevalence has dropped from 26% to 13%, but warns that poor sanitation still drives about 60% of cases in the state.

Officials say environmental management remains key to sustaining gains in malaria control efforts.
