Kwankwassia Movement Losses Membership in Delta

Members and major stakeholders of the Delta State Kwankwasiyya Movement has resigned their membership of the movement.

The notice of their resignations was contained in a communique signed and made available to Journalists in Awka, Anambra State Capital, on Tuesday, by Chief Edward Ofomona, the Delta State Leader, Rev Ayoro Paradise, State Chairman and Asiwaju Anthony O Eyekpimi State Secretary.

They noted that they have equally collapsed all former structures of the Kwankwasiyya Movement across the 25 local government Area of the state into the main stream of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), led by the party National Chairman, Major Agbo.

“According to the communique; the decision was raised from the Kwankwasiyya stakeholders meeting held at Perryton hotel Osubi-Warri, Delta, on Friday,10th November 2023, after thorough reviewed of over nine years membership of the Kwankwasiyya Movement and extensive deliberation and that the meeting was well attended by representatives from all the Ten Federal Constituency of the NNPP in the state.

*The meeting also revolved and condemned misbehaviour and insults melted on the founder of the party by the former National Working Committee (NWC) led by Alh. Abba Kawu Ali and passed a *VOTE OF CONFIDENCE* on the founder and life member of Board of Trustees, Dr Boniface Aniebuna.

*Support all resolutions of the Board of Trustees of our great party the NNPP.

*The dissolution of the then National Working Committee (NWC) led by Alhj Abba Kawu Ali.

*The election of a new Board of Trustees Chairman Chief Dr Tope Aluko and Engr Mohamed Babayo Abdullahi as Secretary, Board of Trustees.

*The appointment of a new National Working Committee headed by Dr Gilbert Major Agbo as the acting National Chairman and Hon Ogini Olaposi as the acting National Secretary respectively.

*The meeting again revolved and pledge allegiance and their total commitment to work and support the Major Agbo led National Working Committee (NWC).
