The Chief Press Secretary to Anambra State Governor, Christian Aburime, has said he will use his position to improve the working condition of journalists in the state.

Aburime also charged journalists to avail themselves of the opportunities of various local and international training and seminars, which would enrich the knowledge of their profession.

He promised to work harmoniously with the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Anambra State Council, and create windows of opportunities that would gain them access to travel to other countries and be exposed to more training in the profession

The Press Secretary, who stated this at his office, during an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Awka, charged them to be fair and just in discharging their responsibilities and refrain from unnecessary sensationalism and mischievous reportage

”Governor Soludo’s administration will ensure improved welfare of every journalist. What he is doing now is to strengthen the economy of the state, which he is achieving gradually.”

“In no distant time, he will achieve this. His dream is to make Anambra a peaceful, liveable and prosperous homeland.”

”I promise that no journalist will regret working under Governor Soludo’s administration. So let us join hands to promote the good works he has commenced,” he said.
