Japan has named Kisarazu City as the official hometown for Nigerians, offering a special visa scheme for skilled workers and artisans. The move, announced at TICAD9, aims to boost cultural ties, workforce productivity, and regional revitalisation. Nigeria’s Charge d’Affaires, Florence Adeseke, and Kisarazu Mayor Yoshikuni Watanabe received the designation certificate.
