International Youth Day: Amaechi Nwachukwu Felicitates With Nigerian Youths
The Zenith Labour Party(ZLP) candidate for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in 2023 elections, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu, felicitates with youths in the country, particularly Anambra and Oyi/Ayamelum Youths today on the occasion of International Youth Day 2022.
Dr. Nwachukwu reminisces that International Youth Day is celebrated globally on every 12th August, to bring to notice the socio-economic and socio-political issues that the youths in every nation face. The theme of this year’s celebration is ‘Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating A World For All Ages’.
Nwachukwu says the 2022 Youth Day and the carefully selected theme are very critical, considering the myriad of challenges that Nigeria is currently facing. He says much success cannot be recorded in the fight against the challenges without the meaningful participation of young people, with their energy and innovations across boards.
The orthopaedic surgeon says he recognizes and appreciates the visible efforts of youths on the frontlines of the struggle to build a better future for all, he enjoins the youths to keep the fire burning, shun crime and vices, and engage in profitable ventures, like agriculture and actively participate in politics, especially in the upcoming 2023 general elections for the good of the society.
He assures Oyi/Ayamelum youths that he will never abandon them but will continue to partner with them for the actualization of their personal dreams and that of the Federal Constituency in general through effective, robust and efficient representation they seek and yearn for.
