Innoson boss touts Soludo’s agricultural reform

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Innoson Motors, Dr Innocent Chukwuma, on  Wednesday,  lauded  Gov. Charles Soludo of Anambra for his agricultural revolution in the state. Chukwuma made the commendation   while addressing the President of Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association (ASMATA) Mr Humphrey Anuna, who led other members of the group on a courtesy visit to his  residence in Nnewi. He said he had no doubt that the  reforms would result in bumper harvest and provide more food on the table of residents of the state.

He said  the governor’s commencement of the agricultural revolution with the planting and distribution of palm and coconut seeds, was a welcome development. He noted that the seeds were among those that could easily germinate, produce seeds and make money for the people. He stressed that there was need for all hands to be on desk in the agricultural revolution of the governor. Speaking on trade and commerce in the state, the Innoson boss said he had been in business for over 40 years,  adding that he started with “Igba Boi scheme” known as apprentice trader, and grew to become a master trader.

He urged the master traders to see their apprentices as their children and settle them as agreed on completion of their apprenticeship tenure. He said that  such settlement would lure them into commencing their own businesses immediately, saying that delay might  be dangerous and could  lead them to crime and criminality. Earlier, the ASMATA President, Anuna, said they resolved to pay him a visit as their grand patron, for fatherly advice on way forward for the swift infrastructural development of the state.
