INEC Reaffirms 18 as Minimum Voter Registration Age

INEC has reiterated that only citizens aged 18 and above are eligible to register and vote, clarifying during an advocacy visit in Yobe that 16- or 17-year-olds cannot pre-register. Online CVR began August 18, with physical registration set for August 25 across the state.
