Immigration blocks 294 Nigerians, 332 irregular migrants at Seme

The Nigeria Immigration Service stopped 294 Nigerians without valid travel documents and turned back 332 irregular migrants at Seme Border, rescuing 36 trafficking victims.

CGIS Kemi Nandap warned that “Japa” migration is rising, driven by criminal networks, and urged coordinated action across government, civil society, and NYSC to protect lives and curb smuggling.
