Igwe, Mbachu, reassure constituents on effective representation

..As elected Anambra House of Assembly members receive Certificates of Return

The Member elected to represent Idemili South constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly(HOA), Barrister Ebuka Igwe of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), and his counterpart for Awka South 1 constituency Comrade Engr. Henry Nigeria Mbachu of the Labour Party(LP) has reassured their people of effective representation in the State legislature.

Speaking to newsmen after receiving his Certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Barr. Ebuka Igwe said that being a legal practitioner his effect would be felt in the floor of the State House of Assembly within his first 100 days.

“Quality representation is assured for the good people of Idemili South constituency. I have good knowledge of the law as a lawyer and I have what it takes to make laws that will benefit my constituency and the entire state which is the primary purpose of going there. I will uphold the confidence my people have in me till the last day of my stay in the HOA.

According to Comrade Henry Nigeria Mbachu, I am in the State Assembly to show total commitment towards effective representation of my people of Awka,Okpuno communities, their interest is what matters to me first before any other thing. I will do my best to be the loud voice my constituency needs in the HOA.

“People think that Labour party candidates are green horns but we have a philosophy and a slogan which we shall use for reelection in the next four years – ‘That is ‘Go and verify’. It is mandatory that every elected Labour party member wether in the legislature or executive must have some landmark achievements to show which are verifiable,” said Mbachu.

They both thanked their constituents for giving them their mandates to be their spokespersons in the Anambra State legislative chamber.

Earlier on March 31, 2023 at INEC Office, Awka the Anambra State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Queen Elizabeth Agwu issued Certificates of Return to the 30 Anambra State House of Assembly Elects charging them to fulfill their campaign promises so as to be remembered by their good works.
