Idemili South Chairman hails Pensioners as Heroes of Our Time

The Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi ( Iyom Ife Abata)has eulogized pensioners of idemili south as heros.
The Chairman who was ably represented by the deputy chairman Hon. Smart Ebuka made this commendation during the second annual meeting of idemili South pensioners Union.
According to her, your slogan which says ‘Rest Is Sweet After Labour’ has said it all. Our Solution Governor Professor Charles Soludo has always made sure that pension are being paid on time”.
“Your labours of love, dedication and commitment using your intellectual resources to keep the wheels of previous administrations moving laid the foundation which the present administration is standing to do more exploits today”.
However,she encouraged those pensioners that were still fit to engage themselves into skills that will assist them financially and keep them more physically fit.
In his vote of thanks, the Idemili South chairman of the union, Comrade Samuel udokwu appreciated the council boss for the reception she gave to them and also for the achievements in Idemili south especially in the area of training and empowering the youths/ women of Idemili south last year and about to empower the second phase in a short time which will be an indelible mark on the beneficiaries as they move to the society.
Udokwu promised that Idemili South pensioners would always support the administration of the working Governor Professor Soludo and ISLGA Chairman Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi.
