Idemili North Chairman cautions Youths against drugs, distributes Christmas gifts

The Transition Chairman, Idemili North Local Government Area (LGA), Chief Asha Nnabuife has advised parents to ensure their children stay out of crime and drugs during the Christmas period celebration.

Nnabuife made the call at his country home,Nkpor while distributing over 1000 bags of rice, cash and other food items as Christmas gifts to neighbors, family, friends and All Progressive Alliance, APGA political party faithfuls.

According to him, My Christmas message is that everyone should live a straight forward life. Live within your means. Ensure that you do not indulge in any form of vices.

“Parents should control their children. Make sure they are out of crime, drugs and anything that will land them into trouble. I wish that residents of Idemili North merry Christmas and a happy new year.”

“In the mood of the Christmas season I do invite people of my constituency Idemili North to rejoice with me including people who endeavor to come out and cast their votes for APGA party.

“Beneficiaries include my immediate wards Nkpor Ward 1and 2, twelve persons from each of the 12 wards in Idemili North, 467 polling unit agents, All APGA party LGA executives and various LGA executives of Prof Charles Soludo support groups.”

“It has been a tradition for the past 10 to 12 years. I ensure that people living around us celebrate the Christmas happily especially those who may not be able to afford what some of us could afford”, said Nnabuife.

In his remarks, the APGA Chairman Idemili North, Chief Chuks Igboanua(Ezeoba Uke) explained that the cash gifts and other food items were not from LGA or State Governments’ coffers but an individual generousity from Chief Asha Nnabuife.
