The Anambra State ICT Agency has commenced deployment of a DocTracker system at the Ministry of Works to strengthen document processing, project tracking and oversight.

The engagement, which took place on September 23 at the Ministry’s headquarters, followed an earlier meeting with the Commissioner, Arc. Okey Ezeobi, and brought together six Ministry officials for a practical session on the system.

The session focused on how DocTracker can support the Ministry’s administrative processes, document tracking, project oversight and field reporting.

Participants were taken through the system’s document and project tracking functions, as well as tools designed to support field and project reporting by relevant personnel.

With DocTracker, documents can be recorded and tracked throughout their processing, providing visibility on where each document is at any given time.

Where a document is delayed, the system can indicate the desk at which it is pending, providing greater visibility and accountability in document processing.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for participants to share feedback on the system, with the Agency to review the observations and follow up through agreed action points.

DocTracker is designed as a Progressive Web App, enabling users to access the platform from their device home screens, while supporting the Ministry’s transition to more structured digital tracking.

The Agency said its engagement with the Ministry would continue until the DocTracker process is fully operational and runs seamlessly.
