Ibom Air has banned Ms. Comfort Emmanson from all future flights after she assaulted crew members and security personnel on a Uyo–Lagos flight on August 10
The airline said Emmanson initially refused to switch off her phone before take-off, later attacking the Purser upon arrival in Lagos, tearing off her wig, slapping her, and attempting to seize a fire extinguisher as a weapon. She also assaulted another crew member, security staff, and the ground supervisor.
She was restrained, removed from the aircraft, and handed over to the Nigeria Police for investigation. Ibom Air reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy for unruly behavior and praised the professionalism of its crew and security teams.
