_… Vows to coordinated development of Anambra State in synergy with Ndi Anambra in Diaspora_

Leading Governorship aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Engr Chris Emeka Azubogu, says he will harness the Diaspora Direct Investment (DDI) potentials of Anambra State if elected Governor come November 6.

_Engr. Azubogu, while interacting with some sections of Ndi Anambra in Lagos on Saturday of his intention to run for Governorship of Anambra State, stated that he would work for the coordinated development of the State in synergy with Ndi Anambra in Diaspora._

Such coordinated development effort in synergy with the State government and Ndi Anambra at home will help the State achieve accelerated growth and development targets.

_At the meeting, Engr Azubogu led the conversation on his proposed sectoral policies for Anambra State, including such areas as security, education, industrialization, infrastructure, commerce, tourism, health, ICT, youth development, urban renewal, rural  development, agriculture, institutional reforms, power and intergrated transport system._

The conversation raised hope for Anambra State if Engr Azubogu wins the November 6 election since there is a consensus that he won’t disappoint Ndi Anambra as Governor of the State.

“Ndi Anambra in the diaspora has been the leading contributor to the development of Anambra State and time has come for us as a people to develop a template that will bring together Anambrarians in diaspora and those at home for the state development” he said.

The member representing Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives said that if he wins the November 6 Governorship election, his government will usher in a focused and purposeful leadership that will harness and brings to fruition a tripod approach which will see Anambra State government bringing the Diaspora and Ndi Anambra at home together for sustainable economic development.

_”We will use the Diaspora Direct Investment potentials of Anambra state to attract Foreign Direct Investment. The success of well harnessed Anambra DDI will provide a window for other investors, both local and foreign investors to come.”
