Husseni Gambo Floors Finitiri In Court Over Veril Threat Audio.

The controversial audio about threat to life of one Husseni Gambo by governor Finitiri that generated a lot of comments and vedio in the social media and even Tshirt in Yola, a chief magistrate court III sitting in Yola, has today dismissed a case brought before it against the chairman of Adamawa Concerned Citizens (ACC), Hussaini Gambo Nakura by Finitiri Support group for failure of the complainants to grace the court sitting.

Following the altercation that greeted a viral audio clip in which governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was heard issuing threats to Nakura, a group under the aegis of Adamawa Global Trustees, believed to be sponsored by the governor has filed a case accusing the ACC chairman of defaming the governor.

The group also accused Hussein Gambo of promoting instability in the state.

The court presided over by Magistrate E. Dattire, invoked section 352 subsection 1 of the Adamawa State Criminal Justice Law and dismissed the case, for failure of the complianant to appear in court

Reacting to the judgement, counsel to the defendant, Barr Desmond S Adebole, who called the group “faceless” said the court was constrained to dismiss the case in view of the non appearance of the complainant, in line with ACJL in the state.

” The crux of the matter is that my client is alleged to have committed libellous or defamatory statement against the governor.

” It was a phone conversation and I have listened to the conversation and to me I’ve not detected anything wrong.

” In fact, the reverse should be the case because as it were, it was the governor that was threatening my client in the conversation and not the other way round.

” We are shocked that they even arraigned him before the court.

” It was on that basis that the judge struck out the matter invoking the provision of section 352 subsection 1 of the Adamawa State Criminal Justice Law,” he said.
