How COOU student snubbed boyfriend’s proposal at shopping mall

What would have been a joyful moment turned sour at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, when an unidentified girl turned down her boyfriend’s marriage proposal at Shoprite, Onitsha.
Odogublog.com learnt that after a long persuasion and pleads from the proposer in a bid to lure his girlfriend into acceptance, the girl, instead, turned back and walked out of the shopping mall, resulting in a derisive shake of the head from the obviously surprised onlookers.
Further findings reveal that the boy, who is in his late twenties, was said to have dated the girl for 8 years before finally deciding to consummate their relationship, unknown to him that he would be disappointed.
The boy, who was identified simply as Mr. Anyanwu, graduated from the Department of Philosophy of the same university with a First Class Degree Honours, and currently doing his NYSC in Katsina State.
Odogublog.com also learnt that the girl was said to have fallen in love with another man, who may be more financially positioned to cater for her needs, considering the economic situation in the country.
