Hon Mbachu Felicitates Governor Soludo On Re-Election Victory …Appealed For Unalloyed Support From Ndi Anambra

The Chairman of Sokoto Road Association, Onitsha Anambra State, Hon.Emeka Mbachu, (Isimili Mbaukwu) has felicitated Governor Charles Soludo on the re-election victory in the just concluded Anambra State gubernatorial election.

Mbachu who said he mobilized not less than 150 persons from his market, registered them in Mbaukwu, his country home and ensured they all voted reiterated, “I know Governor Charles Soludo will win but what we were struggling for is to ensure he won by large margin against the opposition.

Mbachu told Newsmen in his office at the market that he ensured that all the voters whom he registered in Mbaukwu from his market were well taken care of, their hospitality, added that he did all those things because of Governor Soludo who he said is doing great.

“Everybody is happy because no government even in their two tenures have done what Governor Charles Soludo did under his first tenure, that was why he won.

“I tried to mobilize voters for the re-election, likewise other market Chairmen because everybody want him.

“The Deputy Governor, Onyekachukwu Ibezim is my brother and he is aware of these things I’m staying.

“This is the most peaceful election, no disturbance, no casualty, the security is intact. It was free, fair , credible and transparency.

“I am the Chairman of my polling unit in my hometown, I secured 131 votes against 24 by APC, I thank God for the victory, thank Him also for safe journey of voters who traveled with me from Onitsha to my hometown.

In his appeal, the Chairman appealed for the reconstruction of Bida Road which has deteriorated for long, thereby causing the falling of vehicles with traders wares.

He also drew the attention of the governor on Ose Market –Emejulu–Akpaka road, behind Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha, then Mbaukwu–Obeagu road (Awka South), which he said the governor promised the community, but at least for the sake of massive votes secured in Mbaukwu, Awka South LG.

“I don’t want to talk on tax payment because our tax money is at work and Anambra State is among the low tax payment state, I enjoined everyone to ensure he pays taxes so that the governor will continue to transform the state as he is doing.

“We also appealed for the security beep up, though this just concluded guber election has no issue of insecurity, as the election has gone, more efforts are needed in security, unlike three, four years ago, we witnessed incessant killings and kidnapping because of election.

He urged everyone to be diligent and honesty wherever he is incharge of, to ensure that unalloyed support is given to the governor for the good of the state. He also prayed and wished the governor well as he is about to embark on his journey of second tenure.
