Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu, Keen to solidify Basketball in Anambra state
…as Lynda Ikpeazu Basketball Club defeated Impression Basketball academy of Delta State.
Basketball which is one of the sports activities that creates wealth, has taken a new dimension in Anambra state as Hon Lynda Ikpeazu, (Member representing Onitsha North and South constituency at Federal House of Representatives) takes the lead to solidify Basketball in Anambra state and beyond.
We should recall that Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu has sponsored many basketball tournaments for Division 1and 2, Milo games etc. Lynda Ikpeazu basketball Club is also in partnership with Nigerian American Basketball Association and Nigerian Basketball Association(NBBF) to ensure that young stars of basketball get scholarships to study abroad at the same time playing basketball to get into NBA.
In Anambra state, basketball players and fans has never witness the presence of the game in the state, which prompted Hon. Ikpeazu to develop and initiate the game of basketball in Anambra state so as to create an enabling environment for basketball to strive in Anambra state, bringing the basketball future stars to their desired success.
Last weekend, Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu basketball club engaged Impression academy of Delta State and teams in a contest which Lynda Ikpeazu club emerged Victorious. The match took place at Army Barrack Onitsha.
All thanks to Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu for building a formidable basketball club in Anambra state, thereby giving Ndi Anambra the opportunity to grow successful career in basketball.
