Hon. Ibuzor Commends Soludo’s Town Hall Meeting With Onitsha Landlords

Member Representing Onitsha North and South in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Edward Obiefuna Ibuzor has expressed delights at Governor Chukwuma Soludo for taking a positive direction by meeting with people at the grass root.

This is even as commendations have continue to trail the meeting of  Governor Soludo with Landlords and stakeholders in Onitsha Anambra State

Recall that the governor recently held meeting with Landlords and stakeholders in Onitsha at Sharon House, Anglican Church Cathedral GRA, Onitsha to dialogue on the issues confronting Onitsha metropolis.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the meeting, Hon. Ibuzor who was conspicuously present in the meeting noted that the initiative of the Governor to see the people at the grass root one on one was a brilliant initiatives.

” This is exactly what the society had been expecting from their leaders. Direct interaction is what we need in the governance in Nigeria as a whole. You need to hear and see the heart beats of the people you are governing. Today, at least we have seen and identified the problems and by this meeting the problems is 70% solved” Hon. Ibuzor noted !

He blamed those landlords who intentionally built houses on the surface of water ways, saying that the action taken by Governor to demolish the affected buildings is in order and a better way to make the society inhabitable.

Hon. Ibuzor who is serving his second term in State House of Assembly further revealed his intention to contest for Federal House of Representatives.

He unequivocally stated that Igbo people are not represented well in the Federal level, adding that his going to House of Representatives is to form formidable voice against marginalization of Ndigbo as well as to get a fair share of dividend of democracy for his Constituency.  

He contended that with his capability to deliver numerous works as State House member for his people, he would do more for them if they would support his mandate to get to House of Representatives.

” I have a track record in my constituency. I am popularly known as Liver to Deliver. By this slogan you will know that I believe in work. I am not a motivational speaker. I love doing practical things. I am the only House Member that has two functional constituency office. So, my going to House of Representatives is for my people and Ndigbo in general,” Hon. restated.
