History 101: Who Built The Egyptian Pyramids The Israelites Or Aliens?

By Rowlandgate.

The pyramids of Giza were built to withstand eternity and honestly, they have done just that. These great structures were built as a tomb for the old Egyptian kingdom and have been dated to be constructed around 4,500 years ago. These structures are so great that it must have taken years and hundreds of manpower to get it done.

Egyptians believe their pharaohs are to become gods in the afterlife. So, in order to prepare a beautiful place for them in the afterlife, they began to build these great structures. These temples built in honor of their kings who would become gods in the afterlife. Obviously, these tombs/temples are filled with things each ruler would need to guide and sustain himself in the afterlife or as they say, “In the next world.

The first pyramid in Giza is said to have been commissioned by the pharaoh Khufu and his great. His pyramid is perhaps the largest of all the pyramids as it towers some 481 feet(147mters) above the plateau. Built with an estimation of over 2.3million stone blocks with each weighing an average of 2.5 to 15 tons.

The pharaoh who preceded Khufu, his son, Khafre, built the second pyramid at Giza. His necropolis includes the mysterious limestone monument with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh and of course, the sphinx. The sphinx perhaps stands as the sentinel for the pharaoh’s entire temple complex.

Now, with structures as old as the pyramids, structures so gigantic that it would have required thousands of hours of manpower and hundreds of workers, one is left to wonder if the Egyptian famous craftsmen and workers, were contracted to build these structures. Although these temples were later built by Egyptians but the first few pyramids that mark the integration of pyramids into the culture of Egypt were built about 4,500 years ago with manpower recorded in their scrolls and hieroglyphs, not to be theirs(debatable). So the question is, “who’s manpower built the first few pyramids of Egypt?”

Exod 1:13 The Egyptians became ruthless in imposing tasks on the Israelites 1:14 and made their lives bitter with hard service in mortar and bricks and in every kind of field labor. They were ruthless in all the tasks that they imposed on them.

The book of Exodus gives records of how the Egyptians used the Israelites as manpower, using them to build several structures and imposing tasks on them. Although there is no particular mention of the Israelites building the pyramids in the book of exodus, we can certainly associate these great structures to the Israelites. Since they were the contemporary source of manpower for the Egyptians at the period when these structures were constructed.

Although there is a bit of confusion among scholars about the timeline, since the first pyramid is said to have been built around 4,500 years back, some say these structures were built after the Israelites have gained their freedom from the Egyptians. Some say they were constructed with the man-power of the Israelites and obviously, some believe that the events recorded in the book of Exodus are all myths.

I know most want to believe that the Israelites built the temples and the pyramids but there are pieces of evidence proving otherwise. This evidence is supported by both the Egyptians and the Jewish Archeologists. The latest findings come from a dozen skeletons in newly discovered pits more than 4,000 years old, perfectly preserved by dry desert sand, along with jars that had once contained beer and bread to feed the dead in the afterlife.

The mud-brick tombs, each three meters (nine feet) deep, were found last week beyond a larger burial site first discovered near the pyramids in 1990 and dating to the 4th Dynasty (2575 B.C. to 2467 B.C.), when the giant structures were built at Giza, on the fringes of modern-day Cairo.

The previously discovered graves already pointed to their occupants being pyramid-builders, and the latest findings reinforced the paid-laborer theory, according to Egypt’s archaeology chief, Zahi Hawass.

They are the first to be found containing supplies for the afterlife, indicating how respected the workers were, and one tomb was found containing a limestone piece with an inscription identifying its occupant as Idu, a supervisor of a group of builders.

Herodotus, the Greek historian of the ancient world, described the pyramid builders as slaves. Hollywood films and an offhand remark by the late Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin put forth the idea that those slaves were ancient Israelites.

Archaeologists, Jewish and other, generally agree that the Jewish role is a myth.

“No Jews built the pyramids because Jews didn’t exist at the period when the pyramids were built,” said Amihai Mazar, professor at the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

“If the Hebrews built anything, then it was the city of Ramses as mentioned in Exodus,” said Mazar.

History 101: Who Built The Egyptian Pyramids The Israelites Or Aliens?

Aliens:

This is quite funny but there are actually those who hold the belief that aliens built the first pyramids. I know how it sounds but they do exist. They believe the structures are simply too magnificent to have been built by artisans in ancient Egypt. To these people, the ancient world simply lacks the technical know-how. But as rational thinkers, I know we can rule out this idea.

I mean it would have been impossible for Aliens to come down to earth and simply start building structures in a location already dominated by humans. It is one thing to prove the existence of extraterrestrial beings, which to be honest is still far fetched. However, it’s another thing to put human evolutionary discoveries and ancient prowess on beings we don’t even know to exist.

If aliens truly came down to earth to build the pyramids, around 4,500 years ago when the first pyramids were constructed, I am sure it would have been documented in ancient Egyptian scrolls. Honestly, this idea makes me laugh. It is impossible. I just had to address it because I have had several discussions with people who stand with this idea.

I hope it’s clear now, the Israelites didn’t build the pyramids (although this is debatable), neither were they constructed by Aliens.
