Healthcare Magazine marks 38 years anniversary

Nigerians first and leading Healthcare Magazine marks 38 years anniversary of being published in Nigeria.
The magazine was started by a public health professional Dr Bola Olaosebikan OON from Offa in kwara State. The Healthcare Magazine is the first health magazine in Nigeria. It was launched on January 29th 1986 in Lagos.
The magazine has impacted the lives of millions of Nigerians since it’s inception with healthy lifestyle.
Readers who need answers to difficult health conditions have found succor with Healthcare Magazine.
The Publisher Dr Bola Olaosebikan has also been given a National Honour Award by the Federal Government of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for his publishing this magazine and contributing immensely to good health care for Nigerians in all states.
Healthcare Magazine also introduced Healthcare Awards in 1990 to promote excellence in the health sector, so many icons and organizations have been honoured with Healthcare award.
His achievement with Healthcare Magazine also led to his appointment as Board Member of Lagos State Hospitals Management Board and Honourable Commissioner for Health in Kwara State.
Healthcare Magazine has also saved hundreds of thousands of lives due to the type of articles it publishes over the years.
Healthcare Communications also present special programsu on Television, Radio and Seminars for healthy living on various public health issues.
Other Health Magazines published after it, often in immitation of Healthcare Magazine have all folded up.
