Some unknown gunmen have allegedly kidnapped a lecturer, Prof. Silvia Okonkwo of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, Anambra state.
Okonkwo was reportedly abducted at about 6:25pm along Enugwu-Agidi/ Nawgu road on October 28, 2020.

The President-General, Enugwu-Agidi Brotherly Union (EBU), Hon. Ndubuisi Obijiofor, who confirmed the report said his town’s woman was abducted while returning from Awka after attending a Senate meeting with her collegues in the school.
“This is the second time a lecturer would be falling a victim of the notorious kidnappers on the same spot. The particular spot where the incident took place is highly deplorable, making the constant users of the road more vulnerable to their attack.
