Gunmen kidnap Catholic priest in Enugu
Unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a priest of Catholic Diocese of Nsukka in Enugu State, Rev. Fr. Innocent Mba.
Reports gathered that the priest was kidnapped on Friday afternoon while returning to his parish in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of the state.
The Communication Director of Nsukka Diocese, Rev. Fr. Mathew Eze, confirmed the priest’s kidnap.
When contacted on the telephone, the State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, said he was driving and will get back to our correspondent but was yet to do so as of the time of this report.
