Poised by his commitments to improve his Shared Prosperity and 3 R administrative mantra after more than 13 months in office, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State is swearing 4 new Commissioners today (Monday) and has equally announced minor cabinet reshuffle.

The Governor disclosed this in a one paged press statement he directed Chief Cosmos Iwu, the Secretary to Government of Imo State(SGI) to endorse and issue to media houses in Owerri, the state capital including The Authority over the weekend.

According to Uzodimma, the newly appointed Commissioners approved for appointment into the State Executive Council are Dr. Doris Nkeiruka (Uzoka) Anite, Dr. Bartholomew Chukwunonye Okorochukwu, Prof. Boniface Ginikanwa Nworgu and Mazi Uche John Ohia as they will be sworn-in by 10 am today at the Government House, Sam Mbakwe Expanded EXCO Chambers.

Similarly, the statement said that the Governor also  approved a minor cabinet reshuffle which entails the underlisted moving to new Ministries as attached to their names: Ministry of Petroleum Resources – Mr. Chuks  Okoro Nathan Chukwuemeka, Ministry of Finance and Coordinating Economy – Dr. Doris Nkeiruka (Uzoka) Anite, Ministry of Health – Dr. Bartholomew Chukwunonye Okorochukwu and Ministry of Science and Technology – Prof. Boniface Ginikanwa Nworgu

Others affected in the minor cabinet reshuffle include: Ministry of Tourism – Mazi Uche John Ohia, Ministry of Sanitation and Hygiene – Dr. Elias Martins Emedom,Ministry of Culture and Creative Arts – Barr. Doris Akubuo Onyeali,Ministry of Water Resources – Mr Tony Umezuruike, Ministry of Power – Mr. Ikechuwu Umeh and Ministry of Mines and Solid Minerals – Dr. Damaris Osunkwo
