Governor Soludo Inaugurates ‘Solution 2.0’ Retreat, Directs Cabinet To Prioritize Legacy Pojects For Anambra’s Vision 2070
Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has officially inaugurated the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) Retreat, marking the commencement of a new governance phase designated as “Solution 2.0: Acceleration With Precision.”
The strategy session signals a transition from foundational groundwork to rapid, targeted policy implementation across all ministries, departments, and agencies.
Addressing cabinet members and permanent secretaries, the Governor instituted a results-oriented planning directive, instructing all officials to draft their future valedictory addresses for March 2030 immediately, an exercise intended to compel leadership to work systematically backward from their projected goals to ensure the fulfillment of the administration’s core promises.
According to Governor Soludo, the administration’s primary objective remains the transformation of Anambra State into a livable and prosperous smart megacity, laying the groundwork for the long-term Vision 2070 development plan.
Inspired by global technological and economic hubs, the Governor stated that the strategy aims to position the state as a leading center of sustainable economic prosperity across the African continent.
To facilitate this transformation, the Governor emphasized two distinct socio-economic cultural shifts, imcluding enterprise-driven philosophy and homeland consciousness
Governor Soludo issued a strict warning against bureaucratic delays within the public service, noting that public evaluation of the government relies on tangible, visible advancements rather than administrative processes or the frequency of meetings.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, new executive Council members, among others attended the event which featured presentations of projects in the second phase of the Solution Government.
