Gov. Udom Emmanuel appoints new Chief of staff
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has appointed Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, as his Chief of Staff.
Until his appointment, Inyang-Eyen was the state Commissioner of works.
Inyang-Eyen is the first Chief of Staff to Gov. Emmanuel since his assumption of office in 2015.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Udoh, disclosed this to newsmen on Friday after the State Executive Council meeting held on Friday at the Government House Uyo.
The information boss said the appointment takes immediate effect.
The Commissioner said Mr. Inyang would supervise the Ministry of Works until a substantive Commissioner for Works is appointed.
