Gov Soludo Promises Democracy Interests Across Anambra, As He Flags Off Nnobi-Awka-Etiti-Igbo- Ukwu Road Project
Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo has pledged democracy dividends would be spread across the state.
Soludo gave the assurance at Nnobi Anambra State, Tuesday after a visiting Nnewi where he received a rousing welcome.
The governor who was flanked by Traditional Ruler of Nnobi, Engr. Nick Obi and his cabinet chiefs, the Ajie of Alor, High Chief Ben Ojukwu, the Chief of Staff to the state government Ernst Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Works, Adviser to the Governor on Youths Development, Dr. Obinna Omenugha among other government officials said the state government had done 261km of roads across the state within 9 months, adding that other roads in the state would also be done one after the other.
Soludo urged the Nnobi and Idemili South people to vote the APGA candidates in the forth coming ellection , stressing that a vote for the party meant more development for the state.
“We have done 261km of roads across the state within 9 months. The Nnobi -Awka -Etiti-Igbo-Ukwu Road is Federal Road. We are here to flag off the road. The road was so bad. We let the Federal government know this. They told us to wait.”
“We waited and waited. After waiting and waiting without seeing any thing done , we decided to do the road. We have done the dilapidated road up to the place called Igbo Ukwu pool. We have done the Nmiri John at Alor and the Inland door Road at Nkpor. We are going to do other roads across the state. I dont play partisan politics. I play politics of development “, Governor Soludo said.
