Former APGA Guber Aspirant Hosts Orumba North, South Constituents To commemorate Soludo’s Victory

To commemorate the victory of APGA  and Soludo in the just decided Anambra State governorship election, A former Governorship Aspirant Under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief ThankGod Ibeh has hosted his Orumba North and South constituents in his country home Awgbu, Orumba North Council area.

Chief Ibeh also used the opportunity to reward his immediate community Awgbu ward one and two for their support and contributions towards the victory of APGA and Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

The event was well attended by the traditional rulers of the communities across the two local governments including, Igwe Laz Ekwueme of Oko , Eze Fredrick Okoli of Ndiokpalaeze, Igwe Benard Emejuo of Eziagu, Igwe Romanus Nkala of Amaetiti, Igwe Thomas Onyeama of Owelle Ezukala, Igwe Samuel Uche of Ezira, Eze Chima Okoli of Ndiokolo, Igwe Innocent Onwumelu of Okpeze Community among others.

Party faithful from the two local governments, political appointees as well as the leaders of the party both at the wards and local government levels.

Speaking during the event, Chief Ibeh who narrated his journey as governorship aspirant under APGA, noted that he supported the winner of the primary election in the person of Professor Soludo, because he believed in him and APGA as a political party and promised to always contribute ideas, time and resources to help the governor-elect succeed in his administration.

Chief Ibeh, while appreciating the people of Orumba North and South for standing by APGA, said that the victory party and reward were  to give them a sense of belonging and encourage them to continue supporting the party for a better Anambra state.

The state Commissioner for Housing, Architect Mike Okonkwo in his remarks commended the host for the thoughtful initiative and expressed confidence that the governor-elect will acknowledge the sacrifices made by Ndi Anambra by continuing with the good legacies of Governor Willie Obiano and take Anambra to an enviable height.

The APGA Chairman of Orumba North, Chief Festus Alukwe, his Orumba South counterpart, Mr Ben Obunne, a nollywood Actor, Mr. Smith Nnebe all agreed to the fact that Anambra voted for the best candidate.

Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha who covered the event reports that traditional rulers present at the event prayed God to bless Chief Ibeh for his benevolence.
