Federal Polytechnic Oko has organized its 2025 Carol of Nine Lessons in a grand style, with the deligence and commitment of some staff members recognized and rewarded by the Rector of the institution, Dr. Chioma Awuzie.

Speaking during the event which took place at convocation arena of the institution, the Rector, Dr Awuzie who announced that by January 2026, staff that are due for promotion will be promoted, noted that she came to the school to reposition it to global standard, asking both staff and students to join hands with her to bring the lofty vision she has for the institution to bare.

Dr Awuzie announced that series of ongoing projects in the institution including ICT Experience Centre, Hospitality and Hotel Complex, energy infrastructure in Moment FM school radio, Senator Barnabas Gemade Medical Centre, Ufuma, will soon be completed as all equipment and facilities required for the full take-off of the hospital, other projects have been fully procured and installation will commence soon; milestones she said are symbols of renewal, progress, and hope; clear evidence that Federal Polytechnic, Oko is being steadily repositioned for relevance, excellence, and national impact.

Praying for a happy Christmas and prosperous new year celebrations, Dr Awuzie who reaffirmed that her appointment as the Rector of the institution was duly made by President Bola Tinubu, in strict compliance with extant rules and regulations, called on all staff and students to join hands with management to move the Polytechnic to greater heights, become proud ambassadors of the institution, consciously projecting, promoting and protecting the good image of the Polytechnic, reminding them that institutional branding is not the responsibility of management alone; as it is a collective duty.
