Federal Polytechnic Oko Alumni Association inaugurates National Electoral Committee.

In line with article 6, section 1 and 2 of her constitution, the Federal Polytechnic Oko Alumni Association have inaugurated a seven man committee to conduct her 2025 election.

According to the release by the National Secretary of the Association Dr. Kenechukwu J. Nwisienyi, members of the committee were elected during the joint meeting of the National Executive Council and Branch nominee’s held at the Alumni Conference Hall, of the National Secretariat, Oko on Friday 7th March 2025

Arc. Comr. Sunday Orji from Port Harcourt Branch emerged as the Chairman of the committee while, Chief Oliver Ndu from Enugu Branch is the Secretary.

Other members of the committee include, Mr. Wilson Chukwuemeka Ezeilo from Awka Branch, Prince Stephen Ofodile from Oko Branch., Comr. Noah Akpovegho from Delta Central Branch, Comr Ekenne Emmanuel Edeh from Nnewi Branch and Mr Samuel Okeke from OAU Branch.

The National President Nze Henry Chukwuka Nnebe, while inaugurating the committee charged them to conduct a credible, transparent, free and fair election.

He emphasized that free and fair election guarantees a formidable association and called on the branches of the association to support and cooperate with the committee.

Responding, the Chairman of the committee Arc. Comr. Sunday Orji thanked the Association for giving them the opportunity to serve and assured that the committee will do their best to conduct an election that will be free, fair, transparent and acceptable to all.

” We shall do our job without fear or favour and we shall endeavour to conduct an election that will be acceptable to the Polytechnic of the moment Alumni” he assured.

The tenure of the current executives ends on 29th July 2025.
