Federal Government opens 2025 oil bid, 50 blocks on offer
The Federal Government launched its 2025 oil and gas licensing round, offering 50 blocks to attract $10bn and boost production by 400,000 bpd.
NUPRC said the move aims to grow reserves, create jobs, expand gas use, and improve transparency, with lower entry costs and better seismic data to reduce exploration risks.
