Federal Government declares Thursday, Friday public holidays for Eid-il-Fitr
The Federal Government has declared March 19–20, 2026, as public holidays for Eid-il-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan. Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo extended greetings to Muslims and urged citizens to celebrate peacefully and support the less privileged.
