Exposed! How Cleaner Received N32m in 12 Months From Nigerian Law School

The 2015 Auditor General Report has exposed how N32 million was paid to an unnamed “cleaner” over a period of 12 months by Nigerian Law School.

The report in possesion of Senate Panel on Public Accoubt also uncovered multiple financial mess in the records of Nigerian Law School, ranging from misapplications, spending without approval and diversion of pension.

In one of the query which was read by the representative of Office of Auditor General of Federation said that N34.3 million was paid for training of staff without approval from the Federal government.

Nine queries were issued by the Office of Auditor General of Federation to Management of Nigerian Law School in 2015 according to the report in possession of Senate.

The Auditor General also revealed how the Management of the Law School for payment of N36 million to one staff as dressing allowance in a year on behalf of 52 people , but no document to back the genuineness of the payment to Staff of the law School.

In his response to the issue of payment of house N36 million to unnamed cleaner in a year, the Director General of Nigerian Law School, Professor Isa Chiroma said that queried raised could not have happened in the Law School.

According to him, I can’t imagine the Law School paying 36 million into one person account on behalf of other.
